An Australian citizen, Peter has more than 15 years experience in musculoskeletal and sports medicine.
Peter completed a Sports Science degree at the University of Queensland in 1987, before embarking on studies in Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. After graduating in 1991, Peter worked in the public hospital system in Australia for a year then worked and travelled throughout the UK and Europe for 14 months.
Upon his return to Australia, Peter worked in private practice on the Central Coast north of Sydney and was the physio for the local rugby league team. In 1995 Peter decided to return to Sydney to pursue further studies in manipulative and sports physiotherapy. He secured a position at the prestigious Eastern Suburbs Sports Medicine Centre, working with well renowned Sports Physiotherapists, Sports Physicians, and Orthopaedic Surgeons, He treated a wide variety of elite sports people, as well as non-elite but active individuals. Highlights included working as Physiotherapist for a 1st division Rugby Club, touring with the Australian U/19 Rugby Team, and at the 2000 Olympics working with Beach Volleyball players, elite sailors and triathletes.
In 2001 Peter moved to Montreal Canada to work for Action Sport International, a multi-disciplinary Sports Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine provider company whose high profile clients included the Cirque du Soleil and the Montreal Alouettes Canadian Football team. While there he gained some valuable experience in treating winter sports injuries, including his own fractured elbow courtesy of a snowboarding accident!
Since moving to the UK in early 2003, Peter has used his experience in providing physiotherapy services to the City of London population in the areas of occupational health, and musculoskeletal and sports medicine. Away from work Peter tries to stay healthy by rollerblading, playing bad golf, and snowboarding in the winter. He is also a fan of a good read.
Karen graduated from Kings College London in 2000. Following her training, Karen worked in Kent for 7 years and has gained a wide knowledge in the musculoskeletal field acquiring skills in the use of acupuncture as well as helping people manage chronic pain. Karen has also worked at a private hospital treating mainly post-operative orthopaedic surgical patients. Karen joined Roodlane Medical in 2008 and is enjoying the change of environment!
Karen enjoys treating a variety of conditions especially orthopaedic surgery as she likes the challenge of helping people reach their goals. Karen also has a keen interest in treating wrist and hand injuries and enjoys helping people manage their long-term conditions with different coping strategies. Her philosophy is to identify the cause of the problem to better structure her treatment around it.
Karen is continuing to work towards her post-graduate diploma at the University of Brighton and is enjoying the challenge of juggling study, work and play! During any remaining spare time, Karen can be found to be heading to a spin or pump class and likes to go abroad to ski, snowboard and scuba dive.
Chris graduated from the University of the West of England in 2000, and began his career in Hong Kong, working with patients in an outpatient clinic specialising in rugby and sports. Typical patients ranged from 'weekend warriors' to elite athletes and Chris has been lucky enough to treat some of his sporting heroes at the HK rugby 7s and other sporting events.
After returning to England, Chris worked in a variety of settings from community physiotherapy to on-field rugby physiotherapy. Before moving to London, Chris was the head physiotherapist for a Championship rugby team, Extended Scope Practitioner in Back Pain and clinical manager at a private health centre.
He is a skilled manual therapist and qualified clinical Pilates instructor who enjoys rehabilitating patients back to full fitness as quickly as possible.
Chris joined Roodlane in 2011. He is completing his Masters degree in Trauma and Orthopaedics, and has a keen interest in traumatic and sports injuries.
He is an avid rugby supporter, although he now accepts that his playing days are over! When not working, Chris enjoys travelling and can be found cycling, jumping out of planes, scaling climbing walls or tinkering with his 1966 VW Campervan.
Kieran is a highly skilled physiotherapist who specialises in manual therapy and sports rehabilitation with nine years of clinical experience. He qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2002, when he gained a Bachelor of Science degree with honours.
After qualifying, Kieran initially worked within the NHS in a northwest London hospital. During that time he gained experience in a busy department with a mixed caseload of patients complaining of recurrent back pain and conditions affecting the upper and lower limbs. It was also during this period that Kieran started to work in a tennis club and developed an interest in sports injuries.
Kieran worked in a variety of private clinics for three years before joining Roodlane in 2011, enhancing his skills in manual therapy and Pilates. His interests also include movement and video analysis, which is particularly useful for runners with recurrent injuries to assess altered biomechanics and muscle imbalance.
Kieran enjoys keeping fit whether that is at the gym after work or trying to improve his skills as a boxer. During the winter months he is an avid skier. Over the years he has managed to travel across many different parts of the world, including Africa, Asia, America and Europe but still has many more places he would like to explore!

Dev is a New Zealand trained physiotherapist who completed his Bachelors Degree in 2003 and Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy including a qualification in Western Acupuncture in 2008. Dev worked in the same private clinic in Christchurch, New Zealand for five years before moving to London. Over that time Dev worked with numerous sports teams in hockey and rugby from club level up to international level. Dev was a physiotherapist for the New Zealand Black Sticks men's hockey team for three years and also worked for five years at the International Rugby Sevens tournament as part of the general medical team.
With the touring Dev has done, he got the travel bug and decided to move to London in early 2009. He worked in several private clinics and NHS hospitals before joining Roodlane in late 2010. Dev has strong interests in manipulative physiotherapy, acupuncture, post-operative rehabilitation, and exercise prescription especially in the gym setting. Dev likes to use the many tools in his toolbox of treatment options to get his patients back to 100% as soon as possible.
Outside of physiotherapy, Dev enjoys his sports especially playing hockey, touch rugby, golf, cricket, running, going to the gym and is open to give any sport a go. He likes to travel as much as possible around the UK and Europe and is always looking for tips and ideas from his patients.
Amanda graduated from the Auckland school of Physiotherapy, New Zealand in 2006. She continued to study while working full time in a sports-based musculoskeletal private practice in North Shore NZ and graduated in 2010 with a Masters of Health Practice in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with Merit.
In 2010 Amanda was the head instructor for her local Riding for Disabled Group in Greenhithe NZ where she was able to combine two of her main passions -musculoskeletal rehabilitation and horse riding. Amanda enjoys managing sports related injuries and works with her clients to solve the cause of the problem as opposed to simply treating symptoms.
One of the main attractions of her work is the opportunity it presents for her to meet people from all walks of life and consequently enlarging her outlook through her work with them. She is passionate about exercise prescription and acupuncture and uses these skills to accelerate rehabilitation. Amanda has ten years experience as a competitive horse rider, and enjoys taking on any outdoor sports as a challenge, she loves hiking and surfing, going to the movies and the gym.
Jocelyn Harris is a New Zealand trained Physiotherapist who has a Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Jocelyn joined Roodlane in 2005 having previously worked for 6 years in private practice in Auckland, New Zealand.
Jocelyn has worked with elite athletes in New Zealand from a variety of sports including rugby, rugby league, football, triathlon and distance runners. During her blossoming career Jocelyn has provided physiotherapy for the NZ Soccer team (3 years), for the National Rugby League squad (4 years) and she covered the Cook Islands IRB 7's circuit and America's cup sailing team during the 2003 Louis Vuitton Challenge Series.
Jocelyn uses this experience when treating corporate patients with spinal and work related injuries. She focuses on the causative factors and produces a specialised and individualised rehabilitation programme that is second to none!
Outside the clinic she can be found playing touch rugby against all comers on Clapham Common or scaling climbing walls around London. She runs regularly and plays a mean game of croquet! She also enjoys travelling.

Jenny graduated at the University of Southampton in 1999. She worked at Southampton General Hospital for a few years before moving to London in 2003. Jenny worked at the private Princess Grace Hospital before moving to Roodlane in 2004.
Jenny has special interest in the musculoskeletal field and particularly in the treatment of neck, back and shoulder pain.She has developed her skills through postgraduate courses in many areas such as ergonomics, acupuncture, manual therapy, back stability and soft tissue mobilisation. Jenny enjoys treating a mixture of sports injuries and work related postural problems.
She is able to visit clients within their work setting and carry out an individual workstation assessment (WSA). The personalised WSA allows both Health & Safety and the individual to identify problems that may have contributed to the condition and thereby facilitate recovery and reduce the risk of recurrence.
Jenny's sporting interests include sailing, windsurfing and snowboarding. She competes in sailing to an international level and undertook a 2-year Olympic campaign narrowly missing selection for Athens 2004. Her involvement in top level sport has developed her understanding of the application of physiotherapy in elite sport, including fitness training, core stability ball training, weights and we are delighted she brings her experience to Roodlane.

Nancy has recently joined Roodlane, bringing her expansive skills to the physio team. She is an experienced manual and manipulative physiotherapist whose analytical and evidence-based approach allows tailor-made treatment for each individual, from athlete to office worker. Nancy is a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Nancy originally trained in London qualifying with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2000 from Kings College, London. She then worked in the NHS for Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience in one of London's biggest teaching hospitals.
In 2006 Nancy undertook an MSc in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy at University College London, further enhancing her skills as well as updating her research and theoretical base in this fast moving profession. Since then she has worked in private practice in South-West London and the City.
As a true Londoner, Nancy spends much her spare time escaping the city to travel. She also adores skiing and all things musical.
Gavan graduated from Latrobe University in Melbourne, Australia and since graduation has worked in a variety of positions and gained extensive experience both in the hospital and private practice settings across Australia and here in the United Kingdom.
Back in Melbourne, Gavan worked for a number of private practices with a strong focus on sports and post-surgical rehabilitation, as well as working closely with a number of sporting teams, including professional and semi-professional cricket and Australian rules football players.
Upon moving to London in early 2008, Gavan worked in a selection of London and City-based private practices and hospitals before joining Roodlane Medical allowing him to focus further on his keen interest in spinal and workplace injuries, as well as sporting injury rehabilitation
An avid sportsman, Gavan enjoys playing cricket and Australian rules football, having done so nearly all of his life, as well as keeping fit with regular gym activities. He relishes any opportunity to travel, having backpacked independently through North and South America, the Caribbean, Europe and some parts of Asia whilst making London his newly adopted home.
Tracey grew up in Australia and completed her Physiotherapy degree at the University of South Australia in 2005. Since then she has worked predominantly in private practice dealing with various conditions; from everyday aches and pains, to sports injuries and major operations.
After graduating, Tracey worked in a large private physiotherapy clinic in Sydney and gained valuable experience in musculoskeletal injuries. This helped her develop an interest in spinal injuries including neck and lower back pain. Tracey feels that, although treating these areas can be quite challenging, the results are equally as rewarding.
After Sydney, Tracey spent some time in Singapore where she continued to expand her skills by taking up Pilates exercise training and teaching after experiencing the benefits of Pilates exercise for herself. She is now a big advocate of Pilates and likes to integrate it with her physiotherapy treatment.
In her spare time, Tracey likes to try and see a little more of the world. She is still new to London and looks forward to experiencing and seeing more of the UK and making the most of having Europe at her doorstep.
Leona qualified from the University of East London in 1996 and has since worked in various musculoskeletal environments, which include both the public and private sector and has gained wide experience in treating a wide range of acute and chronic road traffic related disorders, occupational disorders and sports and spinal injuries. She has developed her skills through post-graduate courses in Orthopaedic Medicine, manual therapy, and also uses acupuncture as an adjunct to her clinical practice.
Leona has a special interest in rehabilitation, biomechanics´ dysfunctions associated with peripheral and spinal presentation and complex spinal dysfunctions and has worked in the London Marathon 1999. She believes in promoting long term results for longstanding symptoms through education, self-management and treatment.
Outside of work, she enjoys running with combined Interval Training, strumming up recipes approved by unsuspecting friends, travelling and recently overcame her apprehension of swimming by taking the plunge as an adult!
Cailynn graduated from the University of South Australia in 2004. Cailynn has always had a special interest in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and began working in a city based clinic in Sydney from 2005-2008. During this time, she developed her expertise in the treatment of sports and spinal injuries and formed a special interest in exercise prescription. Cailynn has a specific interest in core stability training and strengthening rehabilitation. Cailynn gained experience with developing specific core exercises and started her own Swiss ball exercise classes.
In 2008 Cailynn moved to London and has worked in a variety of settings ranging from the NHS to private outpatients. Cailynn joined Roodlane Medical in 2009 and has quickly proven to be a valuable member of our team.
Cailynn has a passion for travelling and has ventured to many destinations around Europe since arriving in London. She is also a big music fan and enjoys many outdoor activities such as scuba diving and kayaking.

Aaron graduated from the Auckland School of Physiotherapy, New Zealand in 2000. Since then he has worked exclusively in the musculoskeletal field both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. In 2002 he completed his postgraduate qualifications in acupuncture and in 2004 his advanced training in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He joined Roodlane in 2006.
Aaron has a special interest in treatment and prevention of tendinopathy, having worked with athletes ranging from the weekend warriors to world-class sportspeople. He also has considerable experience in rehabilitating the long-term injured back to work.
Outside of work, Aaron uses his rather limited ability in golf to hack around the course, likes to play the odd game of football and of course follows the All Blacks!
