David Barton heads the physiotherapy service having established an outstanding reputation in the City.
David trained in New Zealand gaining both undergraduate degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy at the University of Auckland. This coincided with his accreditation in acupuncture to an advanced registration level.
Since qualifying in 1995 David has worked solely in private practice. He knows the City population well having spent 7 years here and in Canary Wharf. A keen sportsman himself David has worked with a number of semi-professional sporting teams and is highly experienced in the care of sports injuries both as a physiotherapist and as a fellow sufferer; after all spending so much time having treatment makes you an expert!
With 12 years of experience in the business environment David has built up an excellent knowledge of treating long-standing ergonomic and postural problems. Since completing his ergonomic training he is well equipped to advise businesses with presentations and workshops on changing their ergonomic set-ups. David will also carry out individual workstation assessments. He is also adept at treating neck and back problems for individuals using his manipulative skills combined with customised muscle balance rehabilitation programs.
Out of work he divides his time between his family and various sports, including competitive cricket in the Middlesex County divisions and golf. Two of his goals are to complete a marathon on each of the seven continents and achieve a sub 3-hour marathon which he narrowly missed in the 2006 London race.

Upon his return to Australia, Peter worked in private practice on the Central Coast north of Sydney and was the physio for the local rugby league team. In 1995 Peter decided to return to Sydney to pursue further studies in manipulative and sports physiotherapy. He secured a position at the prestigious Eastern Suburbs Sports Medicine Centre, working with well renowned Sports Physiotherapists, Sports Physicians, and Orthopaedic Surgeons, He treated a wide variety of elite sports people, as well as non-elite but active individuals. Highlights included working as Physiotherapist for a 1st division Rugby Club, touring with the Australian U/19 Rugby Team, and at the 2000 Olympics working with Beach Volleyball players, elite sailors and triathletes.
In 2001 Peter moved to Montreal Canada to work for Action Sport International, a multi-disciplinary Sports Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine provider company whose high profile clients included the Cirque du Soleil and the Montreal Alouettes Canadian Football team. Away from work Peter tries to stay healthy by rollerblading, playing bad golf, and snowboarding in the winter. He is also a fan of a good read.
Jocelyn Harris is a New Zealand trained Physiotherapist who has a Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Jocelyn joined Roodlane in 2005 having previously worked for 6 years in private practice in Auckland, New Zealand.

Jocelyn uses this experience when treating corporate patients with spinal and work related injuries. She focuses on the causative factors and produces a specialised and individualised rehabilitation programme that is second to none!
Outside the clinic she can be found playing touch rugby against all comers on Clapham Common or scaling climbing walls around London. She runs regularly and plays a mean game of croquet! She also enjoys travelling.

Jenny graduated at the University of Southampton in 1999. She worked at Southampton General Hospital for a few years before moving to London in 2003. Jenny worked at the private Princess Grace Hospital before moving to Roodlane in 2004.
Jenny has special interest in the musculoskeletal field and particularly in the treatment of neck, back and shoulder pain. She has developed her skills through postgraduate courses in many areas such as ergonomics, acupuncture, manual therapy, back stability and soft tissue mobilisation. Jenny enjoys treating a mixture of sports injuries and work related postural problems.
She is able to visit clients within their work setting and carry out an individual workstation assessment (WSA). The personalised WSA allows both Health & Safety and the individual to identify problems that may have contributed to the condition and thereby facilitate recovery and reduce the risk of recurrence.
Jenny's sporting interests include sailing, windsurfing and snowboarding. She competes in sailing to an international level and undertook a 2-year Olympic campaign narrowly missing selection for Athens 2004. Her involvement in top level sport has developed her understanding of the application of physiotherapy in elite sport, including fitness training, core stability ball training, weights and we are delighted she brings her experience to Roodlane.
