Brett graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic with MSc(Chiro) in Chiropractic and BSc(Hons) in Sports Sciences from Brunel University. He started his Chiropractic career based in Liverpool before moving back down to London in May 2011 to join Roodlane.
He has been involved with sport for most of his life either as an athlete or providing rehabilitation, treatment or training on a one to one basis. Having been the chiropractor, fitness coach and medical officer for rugby clubs in Bath and Bournemouth, Brett is currently the chiropractor for the Great Britain softball team and has been an active member in the team for over 12 years, in the process winning 6 European Gold medals, the MVP award twice and the Best Batter award 3 times.
His Masters degree thesis was given to the studies of core re-strengthening with exercise and treatments specifically aimed at 'bat' sportsmen; his study was a success and proved an increase in speed and less injuries occurred whilst playing due to his 'treatments'. He is still focusing his on-going CPD training on sports chiropractic in which the emphasis has been on treating all aspects of sporting injuries but more importantly on how one can "pre-hab" sportsmen, in order to prevent injuries happening in the first place, something which all clubs aim to achieve.
He specialises in many areas including migraine and tension headaches, sciatica/leg pain, 'frozen shoulder', trapped nerves, slipped discs, neck pain, scoliosis and a variety of back pain conditions; tennis & golfers elbow, and repetitive strain injuries.
